hi, we’re tommy and omar.

we made wareby so buying from the small shops near you is as easy as ordering online.

we’re a couple in minneapolis, and we ran our own small business before we built this one. that’s where the idea came from.

why we made wareby.

before wareby, we started tandoco as a small kitchen and bakery, and sold at farmers markets around minneapolis. we loved it, and it taught us how hard it is for a small business to get found online, take orders and keep regulars coming back.

at the market we also met amazing makers in the tents next to ours: bakers, florists, potters, candle makers. they were hard to find online, and the big online stores always showed up first.

so we built wareby: one place to find and buy from the local shops near you, with rewards that keep your money in town.
